This pair of earrings comprises 12 meticulously crafted components in 18K white gold. Each earring features a heart-shaped setting, inset with two Special Cut diamonds, which are pierced through by a screw. One diamond is pierced by the screw's head, and the other by its tip.

The heart base, screws, and intricate back grill are made through precise casting techniques, while the pin and back nut are stamped for secure attachment. Each heart is set with 5.12-carat lab-grown diamonds, hand-cut and mirror-matched to achieve optimal symmetry and brilliance.

The never-before-used setting technique involves drilling each stone from the table through to the side of the pavilion. Then the diamonds are carefully placed inside the heart structure and secured through the drilled hole. This process requires the setter to maintain an extremely precise balance of tension during soldering to ensure the stones are held securely in place. The stones sit propped on a stage with a sloped reverse bezel, which creates a clean, shadowed edge, highlighting the brilliance of the oversized diamonds. The setting and the reverse bezels help complete the illusion: diamond hearts floating effortlessly atop the wearer's skin.

Before the diamonds are set, all interior elements undergo meticulous polishing to achieve a flawless finish, while the exposed gold details are polished after setting. The final step involves platinum plating, which enhances the luster of the white gold and provides long-lasting surface protection.
