2 Livers with Bullet Holes High Jewelry Ring

This piece is composed of 5 components crafted in 18K white gold. The ring is formed from a screw element wrapped around a heart-shaped base. Each heart is set wtih 2.56 -carat lab-grown diamond, hand-cut and mirror-matched to achieve symmetry and brilliance. The diamonds are pierced by the screw element, requiring a careful drilling process. A hole is drilled from the table through to the side of the pavilion, allowing the diamond to be fitted to the screwhead.
All metallic components are produced through casting techniques. The band, screwhead, tip, and backplate receive a high-polish finish. The interior elements are polished and prepared before the diamond is set. Special attention is given to the refined interior detailing of the band during the polishing process, maintaining definition and softness. Then the stones are placed inside the structure and secured through the drilled hole. The setting process involves soldering to keep the diamonds in place, requiring precise tension and balance. The subtle texture of the ring’s interior conveys the impression that the screw was grated down by an industrial grinder, contrasting with the puffy heart.
The exposed white egold details are polished after setting. The final step involves platinum plating, which enhances the luster of the gold and provides surface protection.
